Wines o'March

BONJOUR!
We hope you will enjoy these wines that we chose for March! We thought to nix wines altogether and just serve Guinness and Jameson in celebration of St. Patrick, but we rethought that blarney and decided on some great fruits of the vine!

2007 Frederic Giachno Vin de Savoie
In the true Chablis style from the Savoie wine growing region of France
a peach - apricot scented light white wine delight.
2008 Chateau Bonnet Blanc
A delicate blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillion and Muscadelle
Delicate with lemon tart and floral notes
2008 La Vieille Ferme Rose
One of my favorite local chefs, Laurent Grangien of Bistro Laurent fame, touts this rose as one of the best! It has to be as the wine was selected and blended
by the Perrin family...as in chateau de Beaucastel fame.
2008 Chapoutier La Petite Ruche
a dark red berry filled French Syrah - still young, but delicious!
2007 Bernardus Pinot Noir
All the Pinot Noir lovers will so enjoy this traditional fruit forward Monterey
County Pinot.
2007 Los Alisos Syrah
This is a California, actually Santa Barbara County big dark Syrah...peppery
with lots of dense blueberry flavors.
Remember we have all of these wines available to taste during March! I choose a white, the rose and a red each night to specifically pair with the appetizer we are serving.
As always, a sante - to your health!
